Good morning. Donald John Trump is still our president.
ITEM 1: The Washington Post reported, "If Trump appoints a third justice, the Supreme Court would be the most conservative it's been since 1950."
That is odd given that FDR and Truman appointed all 9 of the justices who served in 1950, and a Democrat Senate confirmed each of them.
And really, what was so bad about the 1950s? The court reversed Plessey v. Ferguson unanimously with 8 of those justices and an Ike-appointed Chief Justice Earl Warren.
Lefty demonizing of the 1950s shows a hatred for the peace and prosperity of the era, and the budding civil rights movement that prosperity nurtured.
ITEM 2: Breitbart News reported, "President Trump has a four-point lead among likely Florida voters, an ABC News/Washington Post poll released on Wednesday revealed.
"The survey, conducted September 15-20 among 765 Florida registered voters, 613 of whom are likely voters, showed Trump leading former Vice President Joe Biden (D) in the crucial battleground state among likely voters, 51% to 47%. The two are statistically tied among registered voters, 47% to 48% for Trump and Biden, respectively. The survey’s margin of error is +/- four points."
Florida is a must-win state for our president, so this is encouraging.
ITEM 3: The New York Post reported, "Arthur 'Pinch' Sulzberger Jr is retiring as chairman of the New York Times Co. at year-end and passing the reins to his 40-year-old son A.G. Sulzberger.
"Pinch, 69, already passed down the publisher’s job to A.G. in 2018."
There is your White Privilege, America. This is not a family business. NYT is a publicly traded company. And it is run by the heirs of a supporter of the confederacy.
ITEM 4: Market Watch reported, "Americans’ love affair with pickup trucks might be derailing their retirement plans."
The story said, "There were 13.2 million new pickups sold from 2013 to 2019 in the U.S., with monthly payments of as much as $1,300 for each. That money could be better spent on 401(k) or IRA payments."
Let's see, the left attacked pickups for using too much gas. Then they attacked pickups for killing pedestrians. Now they attack pickups for hurting retirement accounts.
You know what really harms the environment? Burning down stores, cars, and police stations. You know what really kills people? Defunding the police and watching the murder rate double. You know what really hurts retirement plans? Having a mob of lefties ruin your business.
Curious timing.
*Reporter* Nancy Benac reported as fact President Trump "shamelessly inflated his reputation as a mogul over 14 seasons on The Apprentice and later turned his presidency into its own reality show."
She covers the White House. She thinks it is a TV show. This is the best the New York Times can do? Maybe they can find a Sulzberger Girl to take over, as only male heirs need apply for the top job.
That is not how the economy works.
And that is not how the nation works. We do not have a system of racism against black people. If we did, Obama would never have become president. Affirmative action, not segregation, is the law of the land.
But the financial industry blindly backs Democrats now and will lie like the dickens.
NewsNation Now reported, "Two police officers were shot in Louisville, Kentucky during protests reacting to the Breonna Taylor case announcement, MetroSafe confirmed to NewsNation.
"Both were taken to the hospital. One officer is alert and stable and the other is in surgery, according to the interim police chief Robert Schroeder. Both are expected to recover."
As the press now says, it was a mostly peaceful protest.
Welcome to the Democrat Version of America, where mob rule is the order of the day. Louisville has not had a Republican mayor in 50 years. If Louisville is a racist town, then take it up with the DNC.
Oh and the Louisville Courier-Journal reported, "Louisville hit a sobering milestone Saturday night as the city plowed past its 117th homicide of 2020, making it the deadliest year in the city's history.
"Louisville’s black residents have been hit hardest in 2020, according to LMPD data, accounting for 71% of identified victims."
The town is 35% black.
The overwhelming majority of those murders are black-on-black homicides.
Conservatives oppose black on black crime. Liberals call us racist because of that.
ITEM 8: Breitbart reported, "The Society for Professional Journalists is funding an activist group that urges reporters to mute and cancel feminists and other people who criticize transgender claims."
Hey, women journalists, why do you put up with this abuse by your peers?
Better yet, hey, all journalists, why do you support silencing critics and threatening their livelihood if they speak out?
Just remember, you're next.
That was not hyperbole.Local independent journalist named Hiriam, who spent the whole summer covering protests in Austin, mobbed and cursed out of Breonna Taylor protest at City Hall. Large ANTIFA presence. pic.twitter.com/URO9xHAnzJ

ITEM 9: WOAY reported, "Gov. Justice announces $244.3M cash surplus through first two months of FY2021."
I am not a fan of Big Jim (6-7 and 300+ pounds) but he's lived up to his billing as a fiscal conservative. Covid 19 failed to tank the state government's finances as the state ended the budget year with a tiny surplus that is expanding like his waistline did.
This also reflects a resilient economy in West Virginia. We are poor but resilient.
ITEM 10: NPR reported, "Swastika, New York, Is Keeping Its Name."
The story said, "Douglass says the hamlet's name far predates World War II and came from the Sanskrit word meaning well-being. The four-sided geometric character that represents the swastika has been used for thousands of years in Indian religions and seen as a symbol of good luck.
"The swastika's meaning was overshadowed beginning in the 1930s with the rise of Adolf Hitler, who co-opted the figure as a symbol for Nazism and anti-Semitism."
It is part of a town named Black Brook. I would go with that name, but then again I don't live there.
ITEM 11: The Other McCain reported, "If your life’s ambition is to die in a hail of police gunfire and become a martyr for the Black Lives Matter movement, Dijon Kizzee is an admirable role model. The media’s role in the BLM movement is to create and sustain martyrdom myths by obscuring certain crucial facts involved in the deaths of the criminals they elevate to secular sainthood. Thus, in headlines, Dijon Kizzee becomes an L.A. cyclist, as if he was killed — murdered by police! — for the crime of riding a bicycle while black. Anyone disputing that false narrative is then condemned as a racist."
So what was his rap sheet?
The Los Angeles Times reported, "He was convicted for various crimes in L.A. and Kern counties over the last decade and served two terms in state prison totaling more than a year between 2016 and 2019, according to officials. The prison terms related to charges including evading or attempting to evade a peace officer while driving recklessly, as well as possession of a firearm by a felon or addict."
As McCain pointed out, that was Paragraph 14 of a 29-paragraph story.
America's media wants a race war. Be careful of what you wish. It is not conservatives they have to worry about. It is those peaceful protesters who will do them in.
Hannity said, "A brutal new U.S. Senate report is now revealing shocking and new details about the illicit and corrupt activities of Joe Biden's adult son, Hunter, and how he profited while his father was in charge of Ukrainian policy [while vice president].
"According to the report, Hunter actually raked in a whopping $3.5 million from the wife of the former mayor of Moscow -- as in Russia -- via a wire transfer. Hunter also opened a joint bank account with a Chinese national in order to fund a $100,000 shopping spree for members of his family. And that's not all."
Hannity then directed his remarks to Biden: "Why did you allow your son to use your position as vice president as leverage to make millions of dollars from sketchy oligarchs [in] Russia, China, Ukraine, all over the world? Did you make any money from these deals?
"Is this why you refused to stand up to China and refused to support the travel ban, and you'd rather attack Donald Trump, who wisely implemented that travel ban ten days after the first identified case of corona? Was Joe Biden compromised? Is it because maybe he wanted more deals for Hunter? Why? So the family can get even more millions?"
Hannity's words will never reach Biden.
But Chris Wallace could ask Biden every one of those questions at next week's debate.
ITEM 13: Via Citizen Free Press:
Smallpox killed one-third of those who got it. We went ahead and fought the American Revolution despite a smallpox epidemic. The US govt last week updated the survival rates (i.e., IF infected) for Covid19:

Didn't see it reported much.https://t.co/miFbqyb9pM
ITEM 14: CBS reported, "Seattle will reduce the police department's budget and reallocate some money to community programs after the City Council voted Tuesday evening to override Mayor Jenny Durkan's vetoes of adjustments to this year's budget.
The council's proposals approved last month were supported by demonstrators who have marched in the city for months following the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis but were strongly opposed by the mayor and former police Chief Carmen Best."
She was the first black police chief in that town. Instead of funding the police, the city gave $150,000 to a pimp in the name of community policing.
Democrats are misogynists. Why any woman with any self-respect would vote Democrat is beyond me.
More misogyny from Democrats as it features pole dancers.
ITEM 16: The Federalist reported, "The Department of Justice introduced draft legislation to Congress Wednesday outlining specific reforms requested by the agency in compliance with President Donald Trump’s Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship, which curtails big tech liability protections under Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act.
"The proposed reforms stem primarily from the department’s recommendations in June which were developed and released in response to the president’s directive in May seeking to roll back protections that provide blanket immunity to online platforms hosting third-party content. The Justice Department is taking specific aim at websites’ content moderation to ensure an open forum in the 21st century digital public square."
Freedom of speech means just that. We institute governments to protect our freedoms. Get 'em, Bill Barr.
FINALLY, Attention Roozter. You asked me to comment on this from Leo Guinan, who wrote, "Earlier this week, I went viral for a text that I sent to my dad. Now, I would like to go viral with my apology to him. It went viral because I wanted it to. I took an emotional moment in my life and framed it in a specific way because I wanted to trigger a response."
He wrote that his father had to choose between having a Trump sign and seeing his grandkids.
"I apologized to my dad in person. I screwed up with him, and I owned that. I am OK with making mistakes because that is the best way to learn. But my dad did teach me growing up that it is better to own your mistakes and make them right. So I screwed up in a big way. And I am going to apologize in a big way. And when I apologize, I like to do so in a specific way."
And he did.
He wrote, "I deleted all of my social media accounts. They were toxic to my life. I found balance in my life through my writing and lost it when I started to involve social media."
My only comment is as a dad I would have hugged him, and I would have told him nothing in this world could ever stop me from loving him -- certainly not this. And that would be 100% true. I cannot think of a thing my kids could do to make me stop loving them.
But then I would have spent the day with my grandkids, enjoying the moment because I would never know when that kid will go bonkers and hold his children hostage again.
