With the film aiming for a January 2016 start, Rosamund will play a CIA field agent working undercover at the American embassy who’s tasked with keeping the diplomat alive and ensuring the mission is a success.

Rosamund Pike has joined Jon Hamm in High Wire Act, a political action thriller being directed by Brad Anderson.
Tony Gilroy wrote the script for the project, which hails from Radar Pictures. Set in 1980's Beirut, the story sees Hamm as a former U.S. diplomat who is called back into service to save a former colleague from the group possibly responsible for his own family's death.
The British actress will play a CIA field agent working undercover at the American embassy who’s tasked with keeping the diplomat alive and ensuring the mission is a success. Ted Field, Gilroy and Mike Weber are producing. The project is aiming for a January 2016 start.
CAA is handling domestic rights.
Pike, who received an Oscar nomination for her work in Gone Girl, is prepping to shoot A United Kingdom, a period racial drama being directed by Amma Asante and also starring David Oyelowo, and is also due to shoot World War II thriller HHHH, with Jason Clarke and Jack O'Connell.
Pike is repped by CAA, United Agents and Magnolia Entertainment.
